I can’t believe I’ll be writing for three years soon! Even though I am currently (temporarily) based in Warsaw, I’ll make my way home to the city of my heart to celebrate the anniversary, hopefully with YOU! We’ll gather for a picnic on Saturday, 14th and to make pierogi on Sunday, 15th (see more below)! THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!

Pickles and Piwo Community Picnic

To mark the occasion of writing this newsletter for three years, I am inviting you to a picnic with pickles, piwo and an exclusive pre-tasting of EMIGRE SPIRITS — a sour cherry aperitif, made in Berlin, Slavic at heart!

The idea is simple: I’ll bring a blanket, drinks, and pickles; you bring your favorite picnic snacks, and it’s a party!

Writing this newsletter has been pure joy, but the best part has always been connecting with people who read and appreciate what I do. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate three years than this! Teaming up with Zibi Janic, who adds a little East European flavor to Berlin with Emigre Spirits, makes it even more special!

Pierogi Social Club

Your Sunday Afternoon of communal Pierogi Making and Pierogi Eating among new friends IS BACK. <3 This time in a new location in the heart of Neukölln!

What to expect? A cozy, hands-on Pierogi Workshop led by Julia and Claire. At Pierogi Social Club we gather to make food, share our love for Poland and maybe even make a new friend.

You’ll learn how to make traditional Pierogi Ruskie (vegetarian filling with potatoes and cottage cheese) from scratch! Adjustments according to diet or allergies are possible.

A festival on all things MOLDOVA! Definitely one of the CEE countries that gets too little attention. Happy to see a full weekend dedicated to Moldovan music, culture and traditions! The program includes a wide range of concerts, next to it a market, a wine tasting and modern interpretation of traditional costumes.
